ABOUT

Hi! I am a second year PhD student at the University of Warwick interested in algebraic geometry under the supervision of Gavin Brown. In particular, my interest lies in birational classification and how computers can be used to aid in this.

BACKGROUND

Prior to starting my PhD I completed an MMath degree at the University of Warwick. My final year dissertation project was titled Hilbert series and orbifold curves and was under the supervision of Miles Reid. Additionally, during my third year I undertook a URSS summer research project titled Super-Golden-Gates: Number theory and its role in the construction of quantum computers under the supervision of Minhyong Kim which can be viewed here. I presented this project at both the URSS2021 conference here and at the ICUR2021 conference here to an international audience.
